Konkrečiai mūsų tojota 22 metų sausio berods, tai dar tų pypsinčių
nesamonių neturi, kaip neturi ir GPS su navigacija.

Pagal EU reguliavimą GPS neprivalomas:

Intelligent speed assistance shall meet the following minimum
requirements:
(a)
it shall be possible for the driver to be made aware through the
accelerator control, or through dedicated, appropriate and effective
feedback, that the applicable speed limit is exceeded;

(b)
it shall be possible to switch off the system; information about the
speed limit may still be provided, and intelligent speed assistance
shall be in normal operation mode upon each activation of the vehicle
master control switch;

(c)
the dedicated and appropriate feedback shall be based on speed limit
information obtained through the observation of road signs and signals,
based on infrastructure signals or electronic map data, or both, made
available in-vehicle;

(d)
it shall not affect the possibility, for the drivers, of exceeding the
system’s prompted vehicle speed;

(e)
its performance targets shall be set in order to avoid or minimise the
error rate under real driving conditions.

Nebuvo kalbos apie privalomą GPS, tiesiog kad nedaug papildomo hardwaro reik įgyvendint greičio kontrolei, ypač jei SIM'as įdiegtas. IMHO su GPS paprasčiau, nei su kamerom. Bet faktas, kad kamera arba/ir gps turi būti, varguoliškos auto ne išimtis.

  O ka SIM? Siaip jau perduoti duomenis per GSM autogamintojai stengiasi
  kuo maziau, nes tai jiems kainuoja.
  
  Buvo cia neseniai skandalas kai VAG nutrauke galimybe privatiems zmonems
  jungtis prie savo auto per VAG serverius naudojantis savo susikurtais
  appsais (kaip home automation etc.)
  
  Netgi jeigu vartotojas nusipirkes connectivity pack, moka kasmetini
  mokesti ir turi prisijungimo duomenis. Tik VW programeles ir viskas.

    Kad neleidzia useriui naudoti SIM rysio dar nereiskia, kad gamintojas nenaudoja jo savo reikmem. Kiek, kam ir kada jau kitas klausimas. OTA updeitai greicio zonoms galetu but vienas is variantu.

  Kameros/radarai yra, bet greičio nustatymas vien pagal ženklus LT neveikia.
